The City of New Orleans and the Greater New Orleans Pest Control Association have partnered for the Pest Control Academy, scheduled for Oct. 11-13. The event will be held at
2100 Leon C. Simon Blvd.

The Academy will feature interactive and hands-on programs regarding a variety of pest insects, rodents and the methods used to manage them. The Academy is CEU accredited for Louisiana and a variety of other states.
Featured speaker this year will be Dr. Matt Frye from Cornell University. Dr. Frye will cover a variety of topics including rodents, ectoparasites, and flies.
Other topics include mosquito control and Zika virus, termites, rodent control, and much more. NOMTCB employees and local pest management professionals will walk attendees through a commercial kitchen inspection, discuss the principles of integrated pest management, and much more.
