PLAISTOW, N.H.. - Pest-End announced the addition of Matt Aguiar as technical director. In this role, he will be responsible for developing and executing the company's technician training and onboarding programs, as well as key initiatives in field and business operations. Aguiar's arrival comes as the company experiences substantial business growth resulting in an expanded employee roster.
Courtney Carace, COO of Pest-End, said she is eager to see Aguiar make this role a reality. "We have spent a great deal of time developing our vision for the future of Pest-End. The ambitious goals and ten-year plan we've set have required creating new positions within the company, the technical director role being the most recent. It was crucial to find the right individual for this seat as it touches numerous parts of our organization."
Carace added, "We are so culture-focused, we know that by assembling an incredible team who not only excel at their positions but more importantly embody our core values is of paramount importance. Matt has already made significant contributions to our organization in a short period, all while having a great attitude and sense of humor. We are looking forward to seeing his plans for our business come to life."
Aguiar arrives at Pest-End after leaving his role as director of systems and applications with JP Pest Services. During his 12 years with JP, Aguiar also served as regional operations manager before transitioning to his most recent role. Before JP, Aguiar spent over a decade as general manager for Modern Pest Services at several branch locations.
This newly created role for Pest-End is a continuation of many recent changes the family-owned business's second-generation have implemented. As Pest-End continues to experience significant growth, owners Courtney, Adam, and Amanda recognize the need for a more standardized and robust onboarding, training, and continuing education program for their service technicians.
Adam Carace, CEO of Pest-End, said, "As we grow and evolve, myself, Courtney, and Amanda have remained committed to increasing our efficiency by streamlining many parts of the business while ensuring that the family feel remains intact. Initially, Matt's primary focus will be on technician training and onboarding, but his role is far broader in responsibilities and the skill-set that he brings to the table. I am thrilled to see that among all of the changes he is working to implement, he is also maintaining who Pest-End is at the core, which is important. It has also been rewarding to see Matt become reenergized about our industry, and his passion rekindled since joining our team. Matt's vast experience and knowledge within the industry has caused us to start thinking differently as an organization, which has been for the better."
