LAS VEGAS — The Southern Nevada Health District has shut down the employee dining room and a 24-hour cafe at the Golden Nugget for significant health code violations, most notably a pest infestation.
A notice posted on the door of the employee dining room declared the facility an "imminent health hazard" and listed Dec. 11 as the date of the closure. The health district cited 27 problems with pests, spoiled food and unsanitary conditions.
