On Feb. 18-20, C-Shine Group Pakistan held the 'Value of Effective Sanitation and Pest Management in Food Safety’ events which were organized in collaboration with Structural Pest Management Association (SPMA) and Brandenburg UK.
These events were held in Islamabad and Karachi, and were attended by over 200 industry professionals, including representatives from the pest control sector, government sector, food safety officials, restaurants, packaging industry and food manufacturing.
A number of high-profile speakers presented at the events, including Hasan Orooj from Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad, Qutbuddin Kakar from World Health Organization, Dr. Falak Naaz from Department of Plant Protection and Tahir Rashid from Brandenburg UK.
This was the first event of its kind that brought together government bodies, pest management companies, food safety authorities and various food Industries under one roof with the purpose of aligning the understanding of the value of sanitation and pest management in food safety.
