Pest Management Professionals Meet To Discuss Public Health

NEW ORLEANS — About 100 attendees at the National Pest Management Association's "PMPs and Public Health" meeting spent all day Thursday hearing from a variety of speakers regarding public health and the pest management industry. Topics were as far reaching as various mosquito services, fire ant control and hantavirus. 

On Friday, PCOs will discuss a variety of topics, including bed bugs.

The event, held at the Wyndham New Orleans at Canal Place, is sponsored by Zoecon Professional Products. Other "executive" sponsors include Bayer, FMC, Syngenta and Whitmire Micro-Gen.
