SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Pest Pros Pest Solutions, a family-owned and operated pest control company headquartered in Northern California, announced the successful completion of its 2025 Season of Giving Toy Drive in partnership with United Way. Through the collective efforts of team members, clients, community partners and supporters across the region, Pest Pros collected more than 1,200 toys, representing over $40,000 in value, to benefit children and families throughout the Greater Sacramento area this holiday season.
What began as an internal initiative rooted in Pest Pros’ core value of giving back, and driven by a deep commitment to Intentionality, quickly evolved into a powerful community movement, said Pest Pros. Donations poured in from Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, Yuba, Sutter counties and the Bay Area, with supporters contributing toys in person, through coordinated pickups by Pest Pros service professionals and via online wish lists that enabled same-day and next-day delivery directly to the company’s headquarters.
“This wasn’t about checking a box or running a campaign,” said Josh Fleenor, president of Pest Pros Pest Solutions. “This was about adding a multiplier to one of our most important core values. Giving back is part of who we are, but intentionality is how we bring it to life. Every detail of this drive was thought through with the purpose of maximizing impact for families in our community.”
Team members at every level rallied around the mission, taking ownership of the outcome and ensuring the effort reflected the company’s values in action, said Pest Pros.
“The outpouring of support absolutely blew us away,” Fleenor added. “The generosity, encouragement and belief in what we were doing meant everything to our team. It reminded us that when people come together with the right intent and clear purpose, the impact can be exponential.”
Pest Pros said United Way representatives praised the company for its leadership and commitment, noting that the contribution represented a significant portion of the region’s overall holiday giving efforts and would directly impact hundreds of local children and families.
“Our success means very little if it doesn’t translate into positive impact,” Fleenor said. “This toy drive reminded us that our greatest responsibility — and privilege — is serving people, not just through the services we provide, but through how intentionally we show up for our community.”
