“There is a great need for clean-up that FEMA can’t provide. They are doing their best, but the devastation is overwhelming. Once FEMA pulls trees off the houses, someone else has to remove them and repair the damage,” Cindy Jones of Prestige Pest Control and a Red Cross Veteran, said.
On Dec. 6-8, P.E.S.T. Relief will send another team back to the area. This time they will be in Wewahitchka, Fla., to help repair and restore the Taunton Family Children’s Home. The team will be removing trees, clearing debris as well as replacing mattresses and bedding that were damaged by the flooding. The children will be participating in a soccer clinic, with food and fun to follow the active day. And every child and house parent will be presented with a Christmas gift to demonstrate the unconditional love that God has for mankind.
