PestCo Holdings Acquires Bio-Tech Pest Control

Thompson Street Capital Partners, a St. Louis-based private equity firm, announced that PestCo Holdings has acquired the assets of Bio-Tech Pest Control, based in Spring, Texas.

ST. LOUIS — Thompson Street Capital Partners, a St. Louis-based private equity firm, announced that PestCo Holdings has acquired the assets of Bio-Tech Pest Control.

PestCo, a portfolio company of Thompson Street Capital Partners, provides pest control services to residential and commercial customers nationwide. The company said the acquisition expands its presence in the Houston market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Spring, Texas, Bio-Tech Pest Control provides residential and commercial pest control services across the Houston metropolitan area.

“This acquisition supports our continued expansion in Texas, and we are excited to welcome the Bio-Tech team to PestCo,” said Jay Keating, PestCo’s chief executive officer. “We aim to earn the loyalty of Bio-Tech customers and expand opportunities for PestCo team members across the U.S.”

Pierre Riettini and Jason Pitman, owners of Bio-Tech Pest Control, said the decision followed more than three decades of building the business.

“For more than 30 years, we worked to build the company with the help of many dedicated people,” Riettini and Pitman said in a joint statement. “While it is difficult to let go, we felt PestCo was the right fit at the right time. We believe PestCo will continue to serve employees and customers well.”

Dan Cooper, managing director at Thompson Street Capital Partners, said the firm supports PestCo’s growth strategy in the region.
