RENO, Nev. — Pestmaster Services is moving its headquarters from Bishop, Calif., to Reno, Nev., according to RGJ.com.
Upgrades have already been under way in the last couple of months at the company’s new 12,200-square-foot headquarters at the Foothills Commerce Center off South Virginia St., said Jeff Van Diepen, president of Pestmaster Services.
The south Reno building was formerly a bank-owned property that the company purchased.
“The move has already pretty much happened,” Van Diepen said. “We’re not 100 percent done (with our transition), but we already have people in there.”
This is not the company’s first time in Reno. Pestmaster Services has been operating a service center in the area for 15 years. The company’s familiarity with the area combined with an unfavorable business climate in California was cited as key reasons for Pestmaster’s decision to move to Northern Nevada.
