FAIRFAX, Va. — PestWorld 2006, the largest gathering in the world of pest management professionals (PMPs), just got bigger with current PMP registration numbers 25% higher than last year. The National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA) once-a-year-event, being held Oct. 25-28 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, will feature 83 educational sessions (10 more than last year), an expansive trade show with 168 exhibiting companies (22 more than last year), and over 3,000 attendees representing the U.S. and 55 other nations.

A powerful line-up of internationally recognizable speakers will address PestWorld 2006 attendees, including Dr. Beck Weathers, the miraculous survivor of the legendary 1996 Mt. Everest storm, and former director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and current president of Texas A&M University, Dr. Robert Gates. Additionally, PestWorld 2006 will feature a very special surprise guest at the Opening Ceremony and a fun-filled Final Night Banquet that can only be experienced in Texas.

From incredible networking to unparalleled professional development to an Exhibit Hall that has it all, PestWorld 2006 will provide PMPs the tools needed to grow in today’s competitive market. Attendees will be “wowed” with cutting-edge research, fantastic networking opportunities, world renowned presenters, and hands-on educational presentations.
