NPMA PestWorld 2016, being held this week in Seattle, is highlighted by educational programming, a packed exhibit hall and multiple networking opportunities. Today's opening ceremony included an appearance from members of the World Famous Fishmongers of Pike Place Fish Company, who shared some of the company’s customer service and employee empowerment success stories. Owner John Yokoyama purchased the company, which was nearing bankruptcy, in 1965, and turned the business around. Yokoyama and his team will share how he put the “World Famous” in World Famous Pike Place Fish Company. The session was sponsored by Bayer. The following slideshow includes photos from the opening ceremony; a look at the exhibit all; coverage from the Pi Chi Omega membership meeting; and other sights and sounds.
