Peter Connelly has joined AMVAC Chemical Corporation as Vector Sales Manager for AMVAC Environmental Products. Connelly’s position includes responsibility for sales of mosquito and vector control products including Dibrom® Concentrate, Trumpet® EC and other AMVAC environmental products.
Connelly brings extensive experience in the green market and vector control industries to his position. After attending North Dakota State University and Virginia Tech, he partnered with his brothers in running W.S. Connelly & Co., founded by his late father, and today a leading supplier of erosion control, lawncare and landscape supplies. He subsequently founded Connelly and Associates, a manufacturer’s rep company, and most recently worked in sales for Cheminova of Denmark and for Aventis/Bayer Environmental Science.
Connelly is a member of numerous industry associations, including the American Mosquito Control Association, and state and regional mosquito control associations in Florida, Georgia, the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, North and South Carolina, Virginia, Louisiana, West-Central, Texas, California and Northwest.
AMVAC Environmental Products include insecticides and fungicides for the horticultural, turf and ornamental markets, insecticides and termiticides for pest management professionals, insecticides for mosquito and vector control, and animal health insecticides.
