LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Phil Cooper, president and CEO of Cooper Pest Solutions and Bedbug Central, began his annual journey of cycling hundreds of miles across the country.
Every year, Cooper participates in charity biking events and documents his experiences on “Phil Across America,” a platform he created to raise funds for charities he supports and inspire others to give back to those in need.
From July 13 to July 30, Cooper rode in “The Ride for Runaways” bicycle ride. This annual seven-day, 500-mile ride raises money for Anchor House, a foundation that provides support and assistance to homeless, runaway and abused children and young adults. This was Cooper’s seventh year partaking in the ride. He blogged about the experience on Phil Across America’s website.
In September, Cooper will participate in the “City to Shore” ride in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, which uses donations to support research on multiple sclerosis, as well as help people living with the disease. Cooper will ride his bike from Cherry Hill, N.J. to Ocean City, N.J. over a two-day period. The route spans 150 miles. Cooper has raised more than $350,000 for multiple sclerosis research since he started riding for it in the 1990s. Click here to learn more and to donate.
