ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Albuquerque health officials say a 16-month-old girl is hospitalized and recovering from the plague.
Health officials say it's Bernalillo County's first human case this year.
The City of Albuquerque's health department says the child's great-grandfather is also undergoing treatment for plague after displaying symptoms consistent with the disease.
