Plunketts
FRIDLEY, Minn. - Stacy O’Reilly, longtime president and owner of Plunkett’s Pest Control, announced that she is stepping down, effective Jan. 1, 2023.
O’Reilly wrote in a letter to her staff, “When my father retired 20 years ago, he retired when the next generation of leaders was ready to manage Plunkett’s. He considered Plunkett’s entire team in his decision, the technicians and clients being top of mind for his decision. That time has come for me, too. Our leadership team is stronger than it has ever been. The time is right for them to take over the day-to-day management of Plunkett’s/Varment Guard.” O’Reilly will remain as chair of the company's board of directors.
Plunkett’s Director of Innovation and Shared Services, Aly Silva Mulgrew, will succeed O’Reilly as the fifth president in the company’s 108-year history. Silva Mulgrew has been with Plunkett’s since 2020. Before joining Plunkett’s, she was at Surest (previously Bind Benefits), leading the human capital department and the company’s cross-functional projects.
Prior to Bind, Silva Mulgrew was a management consultant with EY Parthenon, advising clients in North America, Latin America, and Europe.
Silva Mulgrew speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and English. She is originally from El Salvador and grew up in Latin America before making the United States her home. Silva Mulgrew earned a BA in economics from Harvard University and MBA from Harvard Business.
O’Reilly calls Silva Mulgrew “A special talent who jumps into any challenge willingly. She listens, learns, supports, and contributes with a genuine goal to move the entire team forward together.”
