Plunkett's Pest Control
SHELBY, Ohio – Plunkett’s Pest Control announced its acquisition of Carothers Pest Control, a family-owned pest management company based in Shelby, Ohio.
Founded in 1959 by Ed Carothers, the company has remained a fourth-generation, family-owned business. Ownership passed from Ed to his son, also Ed, then to Mary Carothers and most recently to her son Jack Hooks, who has been part of the team for 10 years and owner for the past 3.

Hooks and the Carothers team will remain actively involved during the transition to ensure a smooth continuity of service, said Plunkett's Pest Control. All four Carothers employees will be transitioning to Plunkett’s.
