Plunkett's Pest Control
BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. – From Nov. 3-5, over 100 Plunkett’s Pest Control and Varment Guard supervisors gathered at the Heritage Center of Brooklyn Center, Minn., for Supervisor University 2025, a three-day leadership experience designed to inspire, equip and energize the next generation of supervisors.
This year’s theme, “Blaze the Trail, Lead Your Pack,” reflected the event’s focus on leadership, collaboration and innovation. Day one kicked off with a welcome from Aly Silva Mulgrew, president of Plunkett’s Pest Control, and opening remarks from Syngenta, followed by Laura Schara’s keynote, “Life Lessons From the Great Outdoors.” Supervisors dove into hands-on workshops with MGK and Liphatech, explored cutting-edge solutions at the Vendor Fair and gained actionable strategies from Ross Bernstein’s keynote, “Wearing the C: Leadership Lessons from the Greatest Captains and Coaches," said the company.
The day concluded with the awards and recognition banquet, where Stacy O’Reilly (owner), John O’Reilly (former owner and president) and operations directors celebrated outstanding leadership, innovative solutions and exceptional team performance, said Plunkett's Pest Control.
Day two featured presentations from Cardinal Professional Products and Neogen, followed by Scott Welle’s keynote, “Upping Your Game: How to Build a High Performing Team,” including a book signing and interactive discussion. Supervisors also visited the department fair, gaining an inside look at internal teams, resources and best practices to enhance collaboration and drive results, said the company.
“Supervisor University 2025 was incredible," said Silva Mulgrew. "Seeing over 100 of our supervisors fully engaged, learning from industry leaders, and celebrating achievements together reminded me why this event is so special. The energy, ideas and connections from this weekend will fuel stronger leadership and innovation across our teams.”
Plunkett's Pest Control said the event’s success was made possible thanks to sponsors including: AAC Distributing LLC, Allegra Printing, Alta Honors, BASF Corporation, Bell Laboratories, Bird Barrier America, Bird-X, Bond Branded Gear, Bridgewater Bank, Carlson Toyota, Cardinal Professional Products, Catchmaster, Control Solutions Incorporated, Corteva Agriscience, Degesch America, Envu, FanFare Promotions, Forshaw, Gallagher & Empower, Gardner, Gemini: Advanced Marketing Solutions, HUB International, Hubbard Broadcasting, HY-C, Kness Pest Defense, Liphatech, MGK, Neogen, Nisus Corporation, Nutrien, Rockwell Labs, Riffland Solutions, Samsara, Surest, Soulo/Allegra Printing, Syngenta Professional Solutions, Tactacam, The Hartford, Tomahawk Live Trap, Trece Inc., Web-Cote Industries, and Wildlife Control Supplies.
