SUFFERN, N.Y. — BH Stangel, president of The Pest Management Training & Consulting Center, Suffern, N.Y., has announced the expansion of its initial certification and continuing education programs for both new employees and currently certified pesticide applicators. Their programs will now cover the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
The PMTC staff includes:
Tom Dechillo, formally with the NYSDEC joined the PMTC staff in January of 2011 as an instructor for Core training. In addition he will work with working with companies that are having regulatory issues. Dechillo will be presenting a special rodent control workshop on Sept. 29, at the Homewood Suites in Albany, N.Y.
Curtis Wegner has joined the PMTC training staff. Wegner was formally with the city of Yonkers Municipal Housing Authority. He will be an instructor for the Structural & Rodent certification program. He also will work in our consulting division to help companies develop IPM & Bed Bug control programs. Wegner will be presenting the PMTC Rodent Control Workshop on Sept. 29, at the Hampton Inn, Elmsford, N.Y.
David Folina, formally with the Scott Lawn Care organization, has been appointed head of PMTC’s Landscape & Turf division. This division will cover employee training, business development & turf consulting.
