INDIANAPOLIS — Tim Pollard has been named sales director at Dow AgroSciences Canada. Pollard had been serving as the Southern District sales manager for the company’s pest management business. He will relocate to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and will report to Jim Wispinski, the regional commercial unit leader for Dow AgroSciences, Canada.
Mike Lind, district sales manager for the Dow AgroSciences eastern turf and ornamental business, replaces Pollard. Lind has held numerous sales and product marketing roles in the pest management business.
Pollard began his career with Dow AgroSciences after earning a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science from Auburn University. He served as sales representative in eastern Nebraska for the Dow AgroSciences Crop Protection business, then joined the company’s pest management business where he was a sales representative, the quality assurance manager, and the U.S. marketing specialist for the Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System
