The Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), the public outreach arm of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), has released its artificial intelligence (AI) research findings for December 2020.
AI findings showed that customer engagement spiked around the topics of rats (up 19%) and mice (up 15%), not surprising as the December findings coincided with the onset of winter.
Other results included:
- A 76% spike in engagement around the topic of rodent sightings in the basement
- A 41% spike in engagement around the topic of rodent sightings in the bedroom
- A 21% spike in engagement around the topic of rodent sightings in cars
