FAIRFAX, Va. —The Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), which serves as the public outreach arm of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), has developed a customizable advertising kit to help pest control companies cost effectively market their individual businesses in a troubled economy. Available exclusively to PPMA Guardians and Contributors, the advertising kit addresses both residential and commercial customers, communicating the need to protect their greatest investments whether it is their home or business. The professionally designed materials include print advertisements, brochures and door hangers that can be customized with a company’s logo and contact information, as well as radio advertising scripts.
“The PPMA Customizable Advertising Kit is another offering in our PPMA Perks Program, incentives available to our valued Guardians and Contributors,” says Missy Henriksen, executive director of PPMA. “In these economic conditions, it is more important than ever to maintain a strong marketing presence. We felt providing investors with high-impact, consumer-facing collateral would fulfill their marketing needs while saving them the time and financial resources necessary to develop the materials on their own.”
Launched in 2009, the PPMA Perks Program offers Guardians and Contributors the unique opportunity to utilize specially developed materials for the benefit of their own businesses. Released quarterly in 2009 and continuing in 2010, these “perks” seek to meet the ever-growing marketing needs of businesses by providing the necessary tools to engage in a proactive public relations and/or advertising campaign. The Customizable Advertising Kit joins previous “perks” notably, the use of PPMA’s digital pest footage for company web sites, the ability to request and retag “retired” TV and radio Public Service Announcements (PSAs) and complementary copies of videos, notably “Pride and Professionalism” and “What is IPM?”
