FAIRFAX, Va. — The Professional Pest Management Alliance has sent out a pair of press releases advocating careers in pest control.
One addresses professionalism and how to find a pest professional. This is in response to a recent “Today Show” airing in which pest management professionals were portrayed negatively as well as an upcoming story being done in national media on warning consumers what they should be aware of when hiring any service person. The second release is in support of PPMA’s public initiative to attract more quality people to the pest control industry. (Download this press release). This release discusses PPMAs “Career” Web site highlighting different types of careers available in pest management. The career site resides on the public and private sites of www.pestworld.org.
