As part of the inaugural Tick Awareness Week, PPMA has created TickTalk.Org, where PMPs can access videos, photos, consumer information, and more to educate consumers on ticks and diseases and the importance of calling a professional.
Tickborne diseases are steadily on the rise, with the CDC recently increasing their estimate by more than 44% to approximately 476,000 new cases of Lyme disease each year in the U.S. With tickborne Lyme disease now diagnosed in all 50 states and more common than previously thought, PPMA felt it imperative to create a one-stop-shop for all things tick-related, and TickTalk.org will now serve as that crucial resource to educate and inform the public on the health risks associated with ticks and the steps they can take to protect against them.
PPMA developed an exclusive toolkit of turnkey materials for Mainframe subscribers to utilize in their own publicity efforts to help get the word out about this new resource during Tick Awareness Week. The toolkit contains a customizable press release, suggested social media content, graphics, headers, hi-res images and more.
Access the toolkit here.
