FAIRFAX, Va. — The Professional Pest Management Alliance has found success with a media campaign to raise awareness of the connection between cockroach allergens and children’s asthma. The National Institutes of Environmental Health recently released a study that once again confirmed this link.
For several years, PPMA has been pursuing this story using a multi-pronged approach to reach many different audiences beyond its traditional audience of the national and local consumer media.
Recently, PPMA was successful in having stories published in the National Black Nurses Association magazine, Advanced Respiratory Care magazine, and Newslines for Nurses (as well as many other Newslines publications including Newlines for Respiratory care practitioners, nurse practitioners and 10 other specific health care professional Newslines publications.
- PPMA also announced that its most recent ad values - from January through October - are tracking at 34% higher than last year for a total of over $12 million to date.
