RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — To raise homeowner awareness of the risk of termites this swarm season, Premise Termite Elimination geared-up for a series of direct-to-consumer sponsorships with organizations in three major termite markets in the U.S. – the “Central Florida Fair” in Orlando, FL and minor league baseball teams the “Round Rock Express” in Round Rock, Texas and the “Tucson Sidewinders” in Tucson, Ariz.

Premise recently sponsored promotional nights at the home games of the Round Rock Express on April 19 and the Tucson Sidewinders on April 29, bringing Premise-branded giveaways and in-game events to more than 11,000 baseball fans. Inclusion in all print, television and radio advertising for the games provided additional value to these minor league sponsorships throughout weeks prior to game nights.

At the 94th Annual Central Florida Fair, Premise served as the leading sponsor of the Horticulture Building throughout the course of the 11-day event, which attracts more than 240,000 visitors each year. Partnering with Truly Nolen in Orlando, Premise distributed collateral to homeowners educating them about the importance of yearly termite inspections.

Mike Duncan, branch manager of Truly Nolen in Orlando, was on-site for the opening of the Central Florida Fair, promoting his business by addressing concerns of Florida homeowners about the risk of termites. “Premise’s partnerships with events like this provide an outlet for my employees to have face-to-face interaction with potential customers and answer questions about how we can help them control and prevent termites,” he says.

“These sponsorships are just another avenue for Bayer Environmental Science (ES) to convey our message to consumers that Premise is an effective way to control and prevent costly termite damage this swarm season,” says Dan Meek, marketing manager for Premise Termite Elimination. “Our presence at these fun, family-oriented events enables us to reach a large audience of homeowners in these key cities, where termite damage is most prevalent, and offer tips to protect their homes from these silent destroyers.”
