McKeeman started July 1, 1974, at Presto-X-Company, a commercial and industrial pest management company based in Omaha, Neb. At that time, he was one of only a handful of employees working at four service centers. McKeeman remarked that the company’s overall growth was the biggest change he witnessed over the years. Presto-X-Company currently has almost 300 employees and over 20 service centers servicing the Central United States.
McKeeman added that the always enjoyed the freedom associated with his work, i.e., being able to do his job well without interference from others, with assistance always available when needed.

McKeeman serviced the Council Bluffs, Iowa, area, from the Western Iowa Service Center. Some notable long-term clients were the Council Bluffs Credit Bureau, Armor Meat Packing and Tyson Foods (previously Great Plains Beef).
