This significant increase over 2005 during the same time period is due to the high profile stories PPMA developed or participated in with publications such as Newsweek; The New York Times, The Washington Business Journal, Cincinnati Inquirer, The Oklahoman, Associated Press, Honolulu Star Bulletin and nationally syndicated radio programs – “The Money Pit” and “Health Tracks.” Broadcasts have included both CNN and CNN Headline News.
In June, PPMA participate in stories expected to run in Redbook and Men’s Health. PPMA’s public service announcement radio and TV campaign is up and running. In the very short time since its distribution in late March, ad values for both the radio and TV campaign are topping out more than $425,000.
PPMA’s paid national radio and TV campaign is running – and PPMA’s increased web traffic appears to parallel all of its consumer outreach campaigns. PPMA also has upgraded its Web site with several new sections – including a statistical data base for the media; upgraded message board for the consumers and a regional pest alert sign up for all.
