ThermalStrike Expedition is a Bed Bug Heat Treatment Box

The portable treatment box uses infrared heat technology to treat bed bug-infested items.

CHICAGO  – The technology used in ThermalStrike heated luggage is now available as a reusable, portable treatment box, designed to rid consumers’ goods of bed bugs while a pest control technician treats their home.

Using the same infrared heat technology as ThermalStrike luggage, the Expedition is simple to assemble, reusable and collapsible for easy storage. The 31 L x 17 W x 21 D box gives pest control customers continuous protection against bed bugs. Operators can also employ the Expedition while doing conventional pest control on a job site. The boxes weigh less than nine pounds, break down flat and feature dual safety circuits - all while using a single 110v outlet.

“The ThermalStrike Expedition offers pest control operators additional options for their customers who are suffering from bed bug infestations,” Brian Hirsch, director of sales, Industrial Division/ThermalStrike said. “The biggest benefit comes from the pest control operators ability to bring a portable easy-to-use 'dryer' with him in order to heat belongings in the unit while he is performing his treatment.”

The heat treatment equipment in ThermalStrike Expedition slowly raises the temperature of the container to between 125 and 150 degrees, killing all stages of bed bugs and eggs in less than eight hours without the use of chemicals.
