WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – For over 50 years, the Center for Urban and Industrial Pest Management at Purdue University has offered world-class training in integrated pest management designed by university faculty.
These courses make a career in pest management highly accessible. There are no minimum education requirements to take courses (no GED or high school diploma required). The university also offers both online and offline (paper-based) correspondence courses for those who are unable to access the internet.
Graduates from courses can receive credits toward their technical licenses in most U.S. states. In fact, pest management technician made the US News and World Report top ten best maintenance and repair jobs for 2025.
