NASHVILLE, Tenn. — More than 100 NPMA PestWorld attendees participated in the sixth annual Professional Women in Pest Management 5K Fun Run/Walk this morning around the property of the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
The event is designed to raise funds and awareness for the breast cancer movement, celebrate breast cancer survivorship and honor those who lost their battle with the disease.
Tommy Tomlinson, Pest Management Systems (PMi), was the first male to cross the finish line with time just under 19 minutes. Jane Treleven of Sprague Pest Solutions was the first female to finish, and she crossed the line third overall.
The 5K Fun Run/Walk was sponsored by by Gardex, PMi, PestWest, FMC, ServicePro and Dow AgroSciences.
