People aren't the only ones who have had to seek shelter from this year's heavy rains.
Ants have been running indoors just as quickly, and termites are getting comfortable in more buildings. So far this year, Topeka has received nearly 3 inches more rain than normal. The damp conditions allow ants and termites to thrive.
