FMC Recognizes Arnold Ramsey

PHILADELPHIA – FMC Professional Solutions recently honored Market Specialist Arnold Ramsey with the Sales Excellence Award. The company recognized him for his outstanding achievements in customer intimacy and going “above and beyond” to serve pest management professionals (PMPs) in his region.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Ramsey handles marketing and sales in a eleven-state region including key midwestern states such as Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan. He has been with FMC for 20 years, starting as a formulations chemistry technician, and working as a technical service representative in the company’s Philadelphia headquarters.
    
“Arnold is the consummate sales professional who is always looking for ways to go the extra mile for his customers,” said Dave Torska, FMC commercial development manager for the professional pest segment. “He has a good pulse for development and solutions in our marketplace. He is a great resource and mentor to his customers and colleagues alike.”
    
After receiving a degree in chemistry from San Diego State University, Ramsey began his career with FMC at the Princeton, N.J., Research and Development Center. He moved to Ohio in 2003 to become the Midwest sales representative. Ramsey previously received the Sales Excellence Award in 2003 and 2005. According to Torska, the award is only given in years when a deserving recipient is identified.    

“I’m extremely honored to receive this award,” said Ramsey. “The pest management professionals in my region are wonderful to work with - we help each other keep this industry vibrant.”
