TAMPA, Fla. — A. Haley Veteran Affairs Hospital in Tampa is under investigation after dead rats and roaches were found in the kitchen, WFTV reports.
An internal email revealed three rats fell through the ceiling during construction work.
Officials said the roach problem is so bad that some may have ended up on patients' meal trays.
