Rentokil has expanded its New York footprint with the acquisition of Hudson Valley, N.Y.-based Liberty Pest Control, according to the Potomac Pest Control Group.
Liberty was founded in 1959 and its service area spans from Albany, N.Y., to Scranton, Pa.
Dan Tulp, president of Liberty, commented on the sale to Rentokil North America: “Since our inception, exceptional customer service and innovative pest solutions has been the heart of our success. That is why we are proud and pleased to join forces in a merger with Ehrlich Pest Control, a member of the Rentokil family of companies in North America. Rentokil is a worldwide pest control business with customers. We now can provide even higher levels of service to commercial and residential customers, so we are certainly excited about what this merger means for our customers. In the Hudson Valley, Rentokil operates its primary pest control brand as Ehrlich Pest Control.”
