Rentokil/Ehrlich Acquires New York-based Boot A Pest

READING, Pa. – Rentokil/Ehrlich Pest Control announced the acquisition of Germantown, N.Y.-based Boot A Pest Pest Control. The announcement was made by Victor Hammel, Ehrlich President and CEO of Rentokil Pest Control North America.

Founded by Jack Gregory, Boot A Pest services residential and commercial customers in the Columbia, Dutchess, Greene and Ulster County (NY) area. Gregory will continue his employment with Ehrlich in the company’s Middletown, N.Y., office, where he will continue to service his customers. “Several companies expressed interest in purchasing Boot A Pest,” said Gregory. “But I had heard so many good things about Ehrlich from the trade publications and industry contacts. I respected them as an honorable competitor. Ehrlich’s reputation, combined with the fact that I can continue servicing my own customers, really made it a very easy decision for me. It was truly the best of both worlds.”

Hammel said that the addition of Boot A Pest will help Ehrlich further strengthen its customer base in the area. “We are delighted to have Jack join the Ehrlich team,” said Hammel. “He has shown a true passion for his customers and for the industry, as is demonstrated by the success he was able to achieve in a short time.”
