Rentokil Initial Plc issued its interim management statement for the first quarter. The company stated that the momentum in sales growth generated during 2011 has continued into 2012, with further improvement in organic growth rates and strong performance from its recent acquisitions. The company said revenue for the quarter was up 3.6%.
Rentokil’s pest control division was up 3.7% thanks, in part, to Rentokil Pest North America benefitting from a relatively mild winter, according to Alan Brown, CEO of Rentokil Initial.
“The momentum in sales growth generated during 2011 has continued into 2012, with further improvement in
organic growth rates and strong performance from our recent acquisitions. Market conditions have generally
remained challenging, especially in our Southern European businesses. However, Pest North America benefited
from relatively mild weather,” Brown said.
