Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation entitled: ?Pest Control of Parklawn and Childcare Buildings.? You are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements of Request For Quotation (RFQ) CJG06X82. This requirement is for the Program Support Center Building Management Branch. The award shall be a fixed-price, simplified acquisition. This is a total small business set-aside. It will be Performance Based. Please read the attached solicitation carefully and prepare your proposal in accordance with the requirements contained in Attachment A, Instructions to Offerors. Attachment A, contains the evaluation criteria. Prospective offerors are requested to submit all questions in writing to cganey2@psc.gov or by facsimile to (301) 443-3238. You must reference the RFQ Number CJG06X82 . All questions must be submitted by 4 p.m., local prevailing time, November 16, 2005. The questions will be responded to in an amendment to the solicitation. There will be a walk through on November 19, 2005 at 9:30AM at the Parklawn Building. Read Attachment A for instructions. All proposals shall be marked with the RFQ Number CJG06X82. All Offerors shall submit five copies of both their Project Synopsis and Cost Proposal to this office no later than December 2, 2005 at 5PM EST. 5600 Fisher?s Lane Room 5-101, Rockville, MD 20857. No electronic or facsimile transmissions will be accepted. It is the Offeror's responsibility to submit all proposals by the date and time specified for receipt of proposals. Proposals received late may not be considered. Please note that because of the increased security at Federal buildings, you must allow extra time for your proposal to be processed by security before being delivered to the receiving office above. Security will not permit the entry of boxes at the main entrances. Boxes can be delivered via the loading dock which is located at the rear of the building on Parklawn Drive. The Contractor or Courier must call 301-443-2475 to request an escort from the loading dock or package pickup. Failure to use the specified address could result in your proposal being delivered late. This RFQ does not commit the Government to pay any costs for the preparation and submission of your proposal. It is also brought to your attention that the Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally commit the Government to the expenditure of public funds in connection with the proposed requirement.
