Description
Furnish herbicide and pesticide application services for the Pine Bluff Project Office for the period of 1 May 2005 or date of award, whichever is later, through 30 September 2005 with options to extend through 2009.     Specific Tasks include but are n ot limited to Category I, II, and III Herbicide Treatment and Fire Ant Pesticide Treatment.     The contractor is required to have a valid State of Arkansas Commercial Herbicide Applicators License for weed control in accordance with Class 5 regulations as se t forth by the Arkansas State Plant Board.     The Contractor is also required to have a valid Pest Control Operators License with the appropriate classification which allows the contractor to apply fire ant pesticide in the areas specified and in accordance to the specifications.     Bidders shall furnish copies of these required licenses with their bid.     Numbered Note 1 applies.     The NAICS code is 561710 with a size standard of $6,000,000.00.     Solicitation will be posted at https://ecs.usace.army.mil/ on the is sue date, on or about 10 March 2005, offers will be due on or about April 7, 2005.     Vendors are requested to register as a plan holder in order to receive notice of any changes.     The solicitation will not be available in paper format; however, the Governme nt reserves the right to revert to paper medium when determined to be in the Governments best interest.     All documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in paper medium.     Electronic medium for submittal     of offer will not be allowed.
