Description: Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES (especially Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses) capable and interested in providing Pest Control Services at the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Brevard VA Outpatient Clinic (VAOPC) located at 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, Florida, 32803. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government (the Customer), the Contractor shall furnish Pest Control Services to include all supervision, labor, supplies and equipment. Service shall include prevention and elimination of insects and rodents throughout the interior of the facility; service requires monthly control visits (the canteen area requires service twice per month); and service requires unlimited emergency service calls for areas indicating active insects or rodents. The anticipated performance period is September 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006, with 4 twelve month renewal option periods. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 561710 and the size standard is $6.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exist in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns.
