Descciption
The Regional Contracting Center-Fort Bragg, NC, intends to issue a solicitation for Integrated Pest Management Services (IPM). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, supervision, general and specialized equipment and clothing required to perform IPM techniques in accordance with contract requirements. Work includes the performance of nuisance, structural, mosquito, filth fly, turf and ornamental, weed, and other miscellaneous pest control services. The Contractor shall possess licenses issued by the State of North Carolina in Category 3 Ornamental and Turf Pest Control and Category 8-Public Health Pest Control, and Category 7 Industrial, Institutional, Structural and Health related Pest (include P-Household Pest and W-Wood-Destroying). The requirement will be a 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code is 561710 with a size standard of $6.5M. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. A 12-month period of performance is anticipated with four 1 year option periods. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued under solicitation number W91247-08-T-0081. The RFQ will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must also complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at www.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs has a need for a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to provide integrated pest management services, in accordance with contract specifications, at the VA Medical Center Fayetteville, North Carolina. Proposals will be considered only from contractors who are regularly established in the business called for and who are financially responsible and have the necessary equipment and personnel to furnish services required. Contract will cover the period from Date of Award through 30 September 2009 with the option of four (4) one (1) year option periods which may be exercised at the Government's discretion. It is the VA's intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 13 and will be advertised as a small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 561710. Size standard is $6.5M. This requirement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2009 funds.
