Description: The National Institutes of Health, (NIH) intends to negotiate with American Pest Management, Inc., 6460 New Hampshire Ave., Takoma Park, MD     20912 on a sole source basis in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253 ( c) (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1.       The NIH intends to modify the existing Contract 263-00-D-0014 to provide funds to extend services for a period of six months.     This extension remains within the present scope of work.     The NIH would be at a severe disadvantage and possibly compromise Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC) accreditation if there is a disruption of services.     It is imperative that the Government maintain this source to maintain AAALAC accreditation.     The closing date will be forty-five days from the date of publication.       See numbered note 22.
