What started out as a company Christmas party six years ago has turned into a community outreach. More than 500 residents, including 90 Res•COM employees attended the party in support of the worthwhile cause of helping the less fortunate. A suggested donation of $10 allowed access to the festivities, which included a food, refreshments, a live auction and a visit from Santa. The fundraiser raised $65,000 — the most money raised by the annual party thus far.
Res•COMis one of many companies and individuals who regularly help the Salvation Army aid Tulare County’s underprivileged children. The Tulare Salvation Army uses donated funds to make Christmas gift boxes for children full of shoes, jackets, toys and food baskets for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
