SAN ANGELO, Texas - Rex Pest Control, San Angelo, Texas, was profiled in the business section of Sunday’s San Angelo Standard-Times.
Rex Davis, a 20-year industry veteran, runs the business, which he opened in 1997 after learning all the facets of the pest control industry working for a large company as a manager for eight years and a field technician for two years.
His 32-year-old son Toby Davis and 60-year-old brother Donald Davis help with the daily duties as full-time pest management professionals. This past week Davis’ brother Donald, a retired teacher, will hang up his hat for good because of the tedious work and the strain it puts on his knees, which have been bothering him for a while.
Donald’s 23-year-old replacement was just hired and is entering the business during an extremely busy time.
Davis said he and his crew handle on average about 90 jobs a week during late spring through the summer months.
