WASHINGTON - As part of Monday's FMC Luncheon at Legislative Day, FMC’s Dan Carrothers presented the Policy Person of the Year Award to Dwight Reynolds, group compliance manager for the Western U.S. at Rentokil Terminix. Reynolds, a 30-year pest control industry veteran, has served in various leadership roles in both Arkansas Pest Management Association and NPMA, including serving on the Board of Directors for APMA, and on the Public Policy Committee for NPMA.

Carrothers described Reynolds as a well-respected advocate in both the regulatory and legislative arenas. “He has built an impressive network of state-led agency contacts, and maintains strong relationships with legislators at both the state and federal levels. Dwight's approach to advocacy can be a bit unconventional, but very effective nonetheless” Carrothers said in regards to Reynolds’ trademark of leaving staffers with plastic insects.

During the past few years, Reynolds has been a part of the Arkansas delegation that has had pre-emption discussion with Senator John Boozman, ranking member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture.

Reynolds thanked FMC as well as NPMA’s Public Policy team for helping educate and prepare him for meeting he’s had with policymakers. Watch his video interview here.
