CLEVELAND – PCT announced that Steven Rimington, branch manager of Ace Exterminating’s Chattanooga, Tenn., office, was the winner of a Pizza Rats T-shirt and commemorative Pizza Rat pizza box from PCT.
The apparel was mentioned in PCT Publisher Dan Moreland’s View Point column (“When my World’s Collide,” September 2018). Moreland wrote about a promotion from the Staten Island minor league baseball team. For a period of time, the team was renamed Pizza Rats, an ode to the infamous rodent that became an Internet sensation in 2015 after dragging a slice of pizza down the steps of a New York City subway.
Rimington, a 7-year industry veteran, describes himself as a jack-of-all-trades whose responsibilities can range from running a route to following up on sales leads. He said he likes working in pest control because every day is different. “I enjoy playing detective and taking care of customers’ problems,” he said.
Away from the office, Rimington enjoys woodworking.
