Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment (RISE) sent out a grassroots alert last week, urging the grassroots network to contact their governors and urge support for withdrawal of the proposed “waters of the U.S” rule.
The letter used in the action alert can be downloaded at https://www.votervoice.net/RISE/Campaigns/37251/Respond. This grassroots alert is part of RISE's ongoing effort with the Waters Advocacy Coalition to raise awareness to policymakers about the complexity of the proposed rule before the comment period closes.
