SEBRING, Fla. — Robert Cannon, owner of Cannon's Pest Control, Sebring, Fla., won the May PCT Sweepstakes.
Cannon's entry was randomly chosen from a collection of online entry forms as part of last month's PCT Sweepstakes, which was sponsored by Atrix. Cannon will receive an IPM vaccuum from Atrix.
Cannon has been involved in the pest control industry 16 years, and three years ago he started Cannon's Pest Control, which is primarily a residential pest control company. Robert Cannon had previously worked for Haynes Pest Control for 13 years, splitting his time at Haynes and as a firefighter. He offers general pest control services and says rodents and ants are among the more troublesome pests in his market area.
“Carpenter ants are one of most aggravating ants for my customers because they can come from so many places, including trees, bushes and attics,” he said.
Cannon, who is semi-retired, says his favorite part of the job is getting to work with customers. "Some customers have been with me for a long time and I enjoy getting to form a bond with these people and helping them solve their problems."
