COLUMBIA, S.C. – Rockit Pest announced the acquisition of Home Pest Control, based in Columbia, S.C. Home has provided pest control services to customers throughout South Carolina for nearly 60 years. The acquisition is consistent with Rockit’s strategy of identifying and investing in pest control businesses that are poised for long-term growth in both South Carolina and the greater southeast region.
Steven Leidinger, who has been an owner and general manager of the business for 26 years, will continue to manage the business as President of Home. Mr. Leidinger said, “I’m excited for Home to join the Rockit Pest family. Rockit has established itself as a first-class enterprise in the pest control industry with its focus on enhancing both the customer and employee experience. We look forward to working with them to grow our business while continuing to provide quality service to new and existing customers across South Carolina.”
