KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rockwell Labs Ltd announced it has acquired the patented Aprehend biopesticide for bed bugs, along with associated spray application products, from ConidioTec LLC.
“Aprehend is a strong addition to our product line with its unique mode of action,” said Dr. Cisse Spragins, founder and CEO of Rockwell. “Dr. Nina Jenkins and her team at ConidioTec have developed a well-formulated product with effective application technology and protocols. We appreciate their collaboration throughout the acquisition process and their efforts to support a smooth transition.”
Spragins said Jenkins and Dr. Giovani Bellicanta will continue to support the product and its users during the transition period.
“We are pleased that Aprehend will continue to be developed and supported under Rockwell,” said Jenkins, founder and chief technology officer at ConidioTec. “Our goal has always been to find a partner that would ensure the product’s continued availability and growth in the industry.”
As of Aug. 1, operations and order fulfillment for Aprehend will shift to Rockwell Labs. Distributors and former direct customers of ConidioTec will receive ordering instructions by email.
