NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rockwell Labs Ltd is now shipping a redesign of its InTice Gelanimo Ant Bait station.
The new design has been made easier to use by increasing the longevity of the rigid hydrogel bait, improving the versatility for placement purposes and further minimizing any potential for non-target contact with the bait, the company reports.
The patent-pending, high-moisture, non-spill, rigid hydrogel formula in the station is unchanged. As the only moist bait station on the market with no potential for spill, Rockwell Labs says PMPs gain all the advantages of liquid bait with none of the mess. Ants can feed over the whole surface without drowning in the bait and more ants can feed at one time.
The new bait station design features an easy-to-remove sticker that covers the access hole for the ants, allowing for quick, tool-less placement in the field. Low profile, at under 1/2 an inch high and 1 5/8 inches wide, the station can easily be placed under appliances and out of the way, or on narrow ledges such as window sills, the manufacturer reports.
The new design also utilizes a foil top, stronger seal and a high-tech plastic construction to minimize moisture loss in storage and in the field. The new InTice Gelanimo Ant Bait station is available in a 30 pack box, and each station contains 0.25 ounces of bait.
